For the past 3 years, Riverside resident and mural artist Linda Shrader has designed a 10 foot x 32 foot mural that she starts and completes over the Festival weekend. With ladders and large quantities of brushes and paints, the project is a favorite of Indian Wells Arts Festival attendees who enjoy watching her work and having their questions answered.
Linda Shrader is an advocate of art-in-schools and public art programs, as well as promoting art and culture as an economic engine. She has embellished buildings in many Eastern Coachella Valley schools as well as creating exciting mural projects in the Coachella Valley and Morongo Valley Basin.
Linda works with her oldest daughter, artist Echo Robinson, 21 and Gabriella Evarro, 18.
